Some Prior Work Examples

Boeing Satellite Systems, El Segundo, California

Objective:  Developed and delivered complex database management system to retrieve from numerous choices of  Attitude, Navigation, and Control (ANG) "procs" used in the orbital development of  some 34-40 different models of Boeing production satellites.

Specifications Provided:  Deliver an 80% or better productivity improvement in the selection of the appropriate ANG  component procs at the Ground Support Activity.

Other Requirements:  Provide all supporting training, orientation, and documentation data to allow Boeing to indefinitely sustain the deliverable.

Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, Seal Beach, California

Objective:  Provided ground support data capture analysis from satellite aquired intelligence information.

Specifications Provided:  Boeing provided NRO with intel gathering satellite, telemetry data delivery, and ground support and data analysis.  We were subcontracted to provide ground based analysis of acquired and delivered intel data.

Other Requirements: Map Based, GIS technologies, situation / theater presentation of information, time based analysis, event correlation analysis.

Air Reconnaisance Instrumentation Aircraft Activity (ARIA), Edwards AFB, California

Objective:  Provided software and hardware to allow ARIA automated target acquisition data for monitoring launch vehicles during orbital launch in progress.

Specifications Provided:  Provided processor, interfacing and developed software that improved ARIA's reliability in acquiring launch vehicle's horizonal appearance during it's launch.

Other Requirements: Computed and provided anticipated navigational heading and bearing envelope information to PIC for aircraft positioning to optimize the likelihood of acquiring the target as it appeared on horizon.  After successfully acquiring vehicle's emitted SBand signal, notification and hand off to Airman for manual tracking and automated recording of launch vehicle.

US Air Force Thunderbirds "Command Central" Tow Trailer, Nellis AFB, Nevada

Objective:  Designed, Developed & Delivered  a road worthy fully redundant trailer that will be used to coordinate and deliver all performances of the USAF Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Team at USAF Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Specifications Provided:  Trailer  must be deliverable by all USAF Cargo Aircraft and include

a) an outdoor sound system capable of delivering quality narration and music sound in an outdoor air field environment of a length of 2000 feet with a throw of 1000 feet.

b) airspace controller multi-channel radio system including UHF/VHF communications with intercomm and multi cast and selectcast capability.

c) instantaneous weather assessment capability to establish precise wind speed, direction, density altitude to allow for performance envelope calculations required for aerobatic flight.

Other Requirements:
Trailer designed to sustain tie down requirements for aircraft delivery. Trailer configured to allow a full "show ready" status including setup, systems test, and sound check within 2 hours after touchdown.  Ability to run Command Central without shore power and under fully automonous power generation capability.  Fully redundant to ensure 100% availability
